“I’ve always had a great love of photography, even before I knew I was interested in it. However, I haven’t always been a photographer. Until 2005, I was a computer systems engineer working in the US, having moved there in the mid-nineties. Around the year 2000, I started to take an active interest in photography when I bought my first digital camera. By today’s standards, it was pretty laughable, but the combination of art and gadgetry had me hooked.”

Irelands only open-plan chocolate factory! Located on The Skelligs Ring, recently named in The Lonely Planet’s Top 10 Regions to visit in 2017, our factory is just opposite St. Finian’s Bay and overlooking the UNESCO World Heritage site Skellig Michael, which has been used as the backdrop to the latest Star Wars® movie; The Force Awakens®. We welcome visitors to come and see our Award-Winning chocolates being made, taste the freshly made treats from our chocolatiers while learning all about chocolate. From Easter to September The Puffin Café serves great tea, coffee and incredibly rich hot chocolate drinks, freshly baked scones, cakes and desserts. We are just 10 minutes off the main Ring of Kerry road, approximately one hour from Killarney or Tralee.
